Comments on: Installing Eucalyptus on CentOS

[root@localhost eucalyptus-2.0.0-rpm-deps-i386]# rpm -Uvh python25-2.5.1-bashton1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libpython2.5.so.1.0 is needed by python25-2.5.1-bashton1.i386
If I try to install the eucalyptus on CentOS then it is not installing 3 python rpms.

eucalyptus-2.0.0-centos-i386 is the setup I’ve downloaded, is it the one needed or do I need to download another one?

Dear Mr Jansipke,

I install Eucalyptus as your document but the step “ec2-describe-availability-zones verbose” is show error

Frontend:10.254.53.70
Node: 10.254.53.71
[root@frontend scripts]# ec2-describe-availability-zones verbose
Unable to connect to host: ‘http://10.254.53.71:8773/services/Eucalyptus‘

The port 8773 not listen at Node so we using “NC_PORT=”8775″”

Please help me about this error
